Air Conditioner Tune Up
It's time to make sure your AC is operating at peak efficiency! A qualifying contractor will thoroughly inspect your A/C system, inventory the equipment and diagnose any service needs. You'll receive a detailed report that shows any recommended maintenance or repairs and rebates available to offset the costs—all free of charge. To schedule your free tune-up visit http://www.acqualitycare.com/ or call 1-800-289-2440.

Assistance Programs (SDG&E): We Can Help
In these tough economic times, SDG&E is supporting customers by offering assistance programs and other services. Help us get the word out. If you know of someone struggling with their household expenses or needing a little help, please direct them to www.sdge.com/extrahelp or have them call us at 1-800-411-7343. There are energy bill discount programs available, free energy-saving home improvements, and much more. These days, a few dollars can make a huge difference in household budget.

Cool Zones

Having air-conditioned settings where seniors and others can beat the heat not only reduces their individual energy costs, but can protect their health. Cool Zones are also great places to meet people. The County's Aging & Independence Services (AIS), in partnership with SDG&E, will operate the Cool Zone program June 22 through October 15. For more about Cool Zones, see http://www.coolzones.org/ or contact the AIS Call Center at (800) 510-2020, and press "6." See http://www.sdgealumniassoc.org/id30.html for sites.
